Stainless steel sink welding

A sink supplier brought a sample of stainless steel sink to our JSR company and asked us to weld the joint part of the workpiece well. The engineer chose the method of laser seam positioning and robot laser welding for sample test welding.

The steps are as follows:
1.Laser Seam Positioning: The engineer needs to use a laser seam positioning system to precisely locate the connecting part of the sink workpiece. Laser sensors are used to detect the position of the workpiece.
2.Robotic Laser Welding: Once the seam is accurately located, the next step involves using a robot for laser welding. The robot follows predetermined welding paths and parameters while using a laser beam for welding. This typically requires precise control and programming to ensure welding quality and consistency.

Sampling: This process is carried out to create a sample for testing the welding quality and the manufacturing process. Once the sampling is completed, the engineer can assess the welding quality and, if necessary, make adjustments and optimizations.Laser welding is commonly used for high-precision applications involving metals such as stainless steel because it provides a smaller heat-affected zone and more precise welding.
