Recently, a client consulted us regarding a Yaskawa robot controller YRC1000 displaying the alarm message: “Momentary Power Failure (Time) (Servo)”.
Cause of the Alarm:
As indicated by the message “Momentary Power Failure (Time) (Servo)”, the cause is quite straightforward — the duration of a momentary power drop (low voltage) has exceeded the system’s allowable limit.
Note:
In mainland China, the standard input voltage specification is three-phase 380–440V (+10% / -15%).
What to do?
✅ When this occurs, power off and restart the system.
If the external power supply has stabilized, the alarm will usually clear automatically upon reboot.
✅ If the alarm persists or reappears intermittently after restarting, we recommend installing a voltage stabilizer between the robot controller and the power supply line to ensure the input voltage remains within three-phase 380–440V (+10% / -15%).
